Like the title says... People in Texas are CRAZY for the state. I am one of them. I love it here. We get more patriotic about our state than we do your country. :thumbs:

Too many people in a small area, but not as bad as the reputation it has. Honest to god, the whole state isn't all refineries, and 90% of it doesn't smell. :thumbs: In the next couple days, I'm gonna go out and get some pictures now that the leaves are starting to change.

 

Politically, it's a shithole. I won't get into it, though.

Oh, yes... TO the original question.

 

Love this Texas! The only other place I would consider living is Colorado... Maybe as a summer retirement destination, years down the road... :thumbs:

I have never been to Texas but here in the NC I feel like I have lived here my entire life... I have never been to Texas but my parents have and they loved it..

 

If I ever left NC I would hate it but it would prolly be to Alabama or Tennessee... Never back to Ohio,WV or Michigan... Hated living in each state...

Native Texan, I do love this State. I visited the Capital while in Austin this past summer. Hadn't been there since I was a kid...Most more impressive now at 39. BTW whose Capital building is taller, yall's White House, or the Capital Building in Austin? Nothing like making the walk around and up the dome and seeing the Govenors' change to Presidents.

Hellz yeah Texas! My wife was an air force brat, and she can't stand being in one place too long...but she is stuck here for as long as I'm alive! I would consider a cabin in Colorado, but I will always have a home in Texas!

We who live here love this place. The state even sponsors a slogan that says... "Texas, It's Like a Whole 'Nother Country"

 

The litter slogan is "Don't Mess With Texas"

 

Nothing against any other state but we love this place like our own country.
