Autoride Complete

I have a 2002 Tahoe LT that the autoride went out on. I purchased on Ebay what I thought was a replacement compressor but ended up getting a complete unit including the housing. This mounts to the frame of the Tahoe with 3 (13mm)bolts. 2 studs have nuts on the outside but the 3rd is inside the frame. I see a whole in the frame that I think I can get a socket in but I haven't tried that yet. There's a single wire running through this hole and I'm not certain where that runs. I have to drop the spare to give me some elbow room and hopefully be able to look in the hole. Are there any tips on how to remove nuts inside frame members? I can see me dropping the socket and nut and then having a wonderful rattle (and losing my socket!). Thanks

don't drop the spare. just get an extension on the socket.

there are slides in the frame once you loosen up the compressor.

Remove the spare tire and you'll have plenty of room to access the bolts. I changed mine last week.
