I have a couple issues that my dealer seems to not be able to fix.

 

First off the drivers side window rattles around inside the door when the window is all the way down while going over rough roads, if i creep it up a inch or so were it sticks out of the opening a little i get no noise so i know it's not the door latches or extended cab door, and can feel the window moving side to side when i stick my fingers through the seals while it's all the way down. My dealer continues to only tighten the track which does nothing, they said everything is fine but the rattle i continue to hear proves they are wrong.

 

Second i continue to get a lurch from the transmission when i start the truck up in the morning, not a loud bang but loud enough to be annoying and i don't see how it's healthy for the transmission also. I have seen others with this problem so i know i'm not alone and hoping maybe a tech or owner might have got it figured out.

 

Third is the slip yoke issue, i also get the tap feeling when slowing to a stop light almost like my truck was love tapped from behind. From looking on here i see it's a pretty common issue, only problem is my service adviser told me this a regular maintenance item though, i have yet to find it anywhere in the manual were it says to lube the slip yoke every couple months so is he feeding me a line of bs?

 

My truck is a 05 1500 ext cab, it is under complete gmpp 0 deduct warranty until 89k so i don't see why the slip yoke is not covered especially when they had to redesign it with a nickle plated version. Would very much appreciate any help that can be given because i am spinning my wheels with my dealer trying to get these items fixed.
