It may happen a few years down the road, but for now, like the article states, it'll be Crown Vic's and Hoes.

We have Silverados, Tahoes, one F-150, Impalas, and Chargers.

The last place I lived had a thing for Dodges... Chargers, Durangos.. even Magnums. Oh, yeah ... and BMW Motorcycles.

I haven't paid a lot of attention to "what" they're driving over here. I just make sure to stay around the speed limit and give a slight wave at the gentlemen and ladies driving the black & white cars with the light bars on top. :dunno:

The Crown Victoria is no longer being sold by Ford to the public, only to fleets, Police, and Taxi. After 2009, there will no longer be a Crown Victoria. She's reached the end, after 30+ years. It's a shame too, the last true V8 RWD Full Sized Sedan. I owned 3 of them, 2 P71 Police Interceptors, a 95 and 98, and a 92 Crown Vic Touring Sedan. Very very reliable and sturdy vehicles. Most cab companies will put 500,000+ miles on em before sending them to the scrapper, after purchasing them from them Police Auctions, already with close to 100,000 on them.

Now, I also owned a 93 Caprice 9C1 Police Pacakage as well, by far the best car I've owned! She was a champ, but a bit ugly, which is why I got rid of her.

Our county had a late model camero at one point they seized from some drug people. It was purple too! :dunno:

They must have seized it from Geektoad! :D

that video of the real car is pretty cool. Its like the old Checker car company. What are they gonna do with these things when theyre put out of service? and who is gonna service em? Wont they need dealerships all over the place?
