Dan the PhotoShop Man. Here is the pic I told you about of my dad's car. He didn't make it very far. He broke out. He was supposed to run a 10.41 and he ran a 10.01.

I broke my car this weekend I have a few pics, but I am having a hard time getting them uploaded. I will try tomorrow, but that car should be running again tomorrow too.

hey Robert, Tracy here.

you all don't know how nice and fast BOTH these cars are............

Thanks Tracy! It's good to see you on here.

We ran in Ardmore last weekend. I was wondering if you might make it up from Stillwater. Dad's car is running great and consistent. Mine was a little off in ET and MPH. I think my best run was an 11.02. We noticed it making a little more clatter than normal so I pulled the valve cover and about half the rockers were way out of last. BUT the big problem there was a lot of lateral (side to side) movement. The needle bearings at the fulcrum have a lot of laxity.

Thanks, been mostly reading, great site!

Yea, I talked with Brian at the airport Friday, and he informed me he was headed to Ardmore Saturday. I already had plans or I would have rode down with him.

They still backed off with the girdle?

Another buddy had the same issue on his roller setup in his 482 we put in. Got a new cam, pushrods, and a new girdle, fixed it and picked up 2/10ths.

I feel his was just the cam he used....but your car has always been so consistent...?? But I know you guys will have it lined out soon.

The funny thing is they did not back off. It appears to be a rocker failer issue. Polylocks were tight, but there was play in the bearings of the lifter. Oh well. That's racing! It's not if you break, but when. We should have it going tonight.

For our winter project I think we are going to get some NOS put on my car. I'm ready for it to be a little faster. I think with the set up I have it should not be too hard to get into the mid 9's with just a 150-175 shot. I want Brian chasing me :D
