Flat Bed On A 1500

Hey everyone,

 

My 2000 silvy is started to get some rust on the box.....around the fender wells and spots all over as well.....I had a quote from a body shop to fix the box and it was like $1000..........I was thinking of maybe putting a flat bed on it....if I found one at a decent price.

 

Anyone done this?......what do you think?

I have seen a few here in town with a flat bed on them. They look kinda wierd but mostly they are farm trucks that have the hay haulers.

I wouldn't do it. You'd have to tie EVERYTHING down whenever you wanted to use the bed.

it you made it look cool it would be alright..

 

put a tool box or something on it so it just isnt a plain flatbed..
