Not technically my truck, but I get to drive it to the store and around the block haha...Has the 6.0L and 6 speed transmission, basic work truck model. Ran pretty damn good despite having 2,500 lbs of equipment in the bed...And it's a 2008 model to boot, only about 130 miles on the ticker.

I wish, haha...But that big dome on the roof'll tattle on me, mainly cause I don't work for that company, my grandfather does. He had a C2500 for about 10 years and 230,000 miles, so they decided to give him one of the new trucks they got in the fleet.

His old truck- 1999 C2500 W/T, his since day ONE- had 20 miles on the odometer. Been pretty damn reliable other than going through 4 fuel pumps and a clogged radiator, and some other misc stuff like the radio blew up once.

GPS is a must on all of our company trucks. We once had a delivery guy that was actually running his little side business during the day WHILE he was delivering stuff in our truck. I don't know what he was up to but he went everywhere except where he was sent. He was so dumb that he even used his company issued phone for all of his calls. Didn't take long for us to figure out why deliveries that took our other guys 30 minutes took him an hour or two... EVERY TIME.

We jettisoned his ass and he had the nerve to file for unemployment... after he had worked for us a whopping two weeks!

We laughed in his face and he vaporized. You can do that stuff in Texas. I could fire people here because I didn't like the color of their shirt.

Chevy makes the best work truck imo. That's all I've ever owned. That is a nice full rack set up you have on it. My '99 has a utility bed, (the damn thing is rusting to hell), but I like having all of the tool bins. It sucks that you can't jump on the gas. I recently was able to drive an '05 with the 6.0, and I stomped on it. Yeah, I want one.

Yeah, I actually might send in an app to work for that company haha, I know some of the higher ups and even the VP of Construction, he's close buddies with my grandfather...

I wouldn't really jump on it anyways, it's got WAY too much flammable stuff in the bed, Got Oxy-Acetylene bottles, expensive welder, and all kinds of heavy and dangerous crap (welding stuff mostly, with pipefitting mixed in). I did get to try out that 6 speed manual shifting mode, interesting setup...
