Wow ... my truck drives like cr@p ...

Anyhow, it's got a bad intake manifold gasket, leaking coolant. I believe the water pump is bad too,

 

does anyone have detailed instructions w/ diagrams (hopefully) to do the job? I've got a Haynes manual, but it doesn't tell ya jack. If anyone can point me in the right direction, it'll be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

Optimus, here is the link to the autozone.com "how to" section for replacing intake manifold gaskets on my 97' Suburban, I believe these will work for your 97' Silverado. I am still trying to find the instructions for the water pump.
