2001 Gmc Sierra

We have a 2001 4 dr. GMC Sierra 2500 HD with 63,000 miles on it. Lately cold air has been blowing in under the dash on the passenger side, as if there is a vent door that isn't closing properly. The colder and windier it is out side the colder my feet get. Is there a controler or something that isn't working properly? Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get a dead battery or a new battery?

If so you need to go to your dealer and have them relearn the controlers for you. Like $50

Otherwise it's the acuator. Around $250 to get it replaced.

Thanks, We will give that a try. Never thought of reprogramming since everything else (a/c, heat, automatic climate control ect.) still works great, but I'll bet that's it, since we did put a new battery in it.
