Aftermarket Leather

$950 installed on my ext cab.

Guy will come to my house and do it. Will post what I think about the aftermarket leather.

wow, is that all? Are you getting front and back seats? Embroidered or two tone? I may have to re-think classic soft trim then. I had heard 1300 for the price. That's much more reasonable.

1400 for mine front and back black leather with red inserts.. now I just gotta save up lol

I've seen their work in a 2001 HD Crewcab. It was very nice and looked factory!!! The only thing I didn't care for was the location for the seat-heater button was on the side of the seat by the power adjustments.

Was that price of $950 for the factory front leather and rear vinyl like factory excabs, or will he do the rear in leather too?

rear is leather to thats why it costs more.

I have the factory leather but I don't like the rear vynl and the fronts crack to much

Sorry for the confusion.

$950 for 2 tone, front & back seat and the door trim.

The reason that it is not $1300 is that the installer is charging me what he charges the dealerships for the job.

Eliminate the middleman I say ole chap!

Deal is that I think he is simply getting the installers to do it for whatever they will do it for direct.

I have Classic soft trim on my truck and I love it. It's awesome!!! I just want to change color now. I want two-tone stitched. I thought about installing it myself. Can't be that difficult.

I paid $1300 for mine when I bought the truck, but that was before I knew I could get two-tone.

It's on my to-do wish list.

I think I'll email him and talk to him.

I emailed him about mine, and he said he could get me the price, but it would only be good for december. I think i'm going to get some buckets w/ armrests before I get leather seats though, so I'll hold off a few months. No big rush anyways since I'd prefer to do this in the summer.

I agree, the install shouldn't be too hard, you just have to let the leather heat up in the sun and then pull it tight onto the seats. Jason, are you planning on selling yours? If you are I'm sure some of these guys would want it. I'd get it, but I need a darker color and I want mine embroidered.
