Hi there:

 

I have a white 08 Silverado 1500 WT, with the black plastic front, and i'm planing to match painted the whole front, and change the plastic grill for an aluminum billet grill. Question is: does the plastic oem mesh comes out or do i have to cut it, does anyone knows how to remove it?

Hi there and welcome to GM Trucks! Nice truck you've got.

 

The mesh grill does come out and is replaceable. There are lots and lots of aftermarket grills that fit in there.
