Drone With Aero Muffler In 08 Sd Denali

Hi,

I installed an Aero Turbine 3535XL to my 2008 Sierra Denali.

 

As advertised it should not have any drone inside the cabin as there is a built-in resonator:

They say it's for a Diesel as afaik there is no other gas truck with 3,5" pipes. But it's built like all the other XL-types.

 

Now I have a drone from 1600 - 1900 rpm and for me the exhaust is too loud.

 

What can I do?

 

Install a glasspack in front of the Aero? Or put a glasspack at the end of the exhaust??

 

What resonator would you go for? In 3,5" there are very few choices .

You can try a resonator, but your best bet would be to get a different muffler that is quieter.

If you want an exhaust with no drone but still has a good sound and isn't too loud, I would say you should go for a Corsa Touring exhaust. http://www.corsaperf.com
