Need Help With This Question

i have an 84 gmc c2500 that ive torn apart and putting a new rear end in, thats the easy part. the hard part is that i need to know the spline count on my new rear its out of a similar generation of truck but its a k1500 six lug rear. i need to know this as i am ordering a mini spool from jegs. any insight will be help full thanks todd

Dont you have a 14 or 12 bolt rear end that came out of that truck?

 

I am assuming that you are replacing it with a 10 bolt?? Its possible to be either a 12 or 14 bolt just need to know which one...

 

I am guessing that it would be close to 33 or 34 but I dont know for sure and it depends what rear end you have that you are getting ready to replace...

Any particular reason why you're putting a 1/2 t. rear end under a 3/4 t. truck?
