Weird Electrical Problem!

Ive got an 81 gmc 1500 with a 305 that I have recently purchased, the body was fully restored as well as the interlior. everything was working fine until i went to fill the truck up with gas, went back in to start it and nothing, the lights and the horn work. but the radio, wipers, and ignition give me nothing. battery is fine, tried to get a jump start and still nothing... I thought it could be something with the ignition but the fact that the radio and wipers wont work either changes my prediction. maybe a fuse went?.. Any help is greatly appreciated, thankssss.

Check for fusible links... sounds like one has let go. Look at the wiring coming off the + side of the battery, going to the solenoid (I believe that truck will have a solenoid separate from the starter...)... and you should find a fusible link that has opened up.

 

Shouldn't be too hard to fix...
