Mirror Question And Others...

hey guys, its been awhile but i'm back. I have some questions for you. I have an 04 z-71 ext. cab and noticed my rear view mirror gets extremely dark along with my driver side (when its dimming in the evening). I also noticed that of my two mirrors only the driver side defrosts. does only my driver side dim from the factory? i thought both defrosted and dimmed but i never paid any attention to it while i have had it. Last winter if i used my blinker sometimes it would light up and stick on for a period of time but it hasnt happend to me lately and of course murphys law made it so that when i brought it in it wouldnt do it for the dealer and finally my last question is my seat has like a squeaky spring and it pokes me in the back and makes a popping noise. (i know hard to explain) but it annoys the crap out of me and i really want to know how to fix it. I considered taking it into the chevy dealer and asking them if they could just explain to me how to fix it which often times they are pretty good about when i tell them i just want to save a few bucks. thanks you guys for any help you can give me.
