Vortech and ATI superchargers

Vortech now has supercharger kits available for the 2000-'01 5.3 and 2000 6.0 motors. These kits produce 7-8# of boost which will add about 110hp/100 ft-lb torque. The installation time will take 8-12 hours. Our regular retail for these kits will be $3299.99 for the satin finish and $3499.99 for polished.

 

 

ATI has kits available for the '99-'01 5.3 and 6.0 motors. They should fit the 2002s but ATI hasn't done a test fit yet. We have a local Avalanche customer who might be interested in trying one so I'll let you know how things go if he does. This kit produces 8-9# of boost and comes with a 2 core intercooler. Our regular retail for this kit is $3599.

I want one Tom!!!  Do you need to run premium fuel with the extra boost?  Is there any computer mods that need to be done?

 

As soon as I come up with the cash, I'll be driving up north to see you...

Premium fuel is recommend when running a supercharger. I always use 93 octane in my supercharged Suburban (that God the prices have come down!). The Vortech kit comes with a hand held programmer while the ATI kit is designed to be uses with the stock programming.

We mainly list products for the '99+ GM trucks (4.8, 5.3, 6.0 and 8.1), but can order any kit that Vortech, ATI and MagnaCharger produces.
