305/65/17?

Has anyone put 305/65/17 on a new 08 GMC Sierra Z-71. I just put on a 2.5" spacer lift with the 1" rear blocks. I am trying to decide between 285/70/17 which I know will fit vs. 305/65/17 which I am not sure about due to the width. There are more choices as to tires with the 305 vs. the 285/70. If trimming is involved where and what needs to be trimmed. Any info would be very helpfull. Thanks alot.

Yes, I was going to use the stock wheels.

It will work. I had 33x12.5 on stock wheels with just a 1.5" level and they barely rubbed at full lock. If your close to louisiana im selling my barely used 33x12.5 mtz on stockers for a good price.

Nitto Terra Grappler comes in 295/70/17. I was thinking about those when I level mine. But it sounds like the 305 may work also.

Search BIGTIME and look at his truck. He has 305/65/17's and they look awsome. He said they rubbed a little when backing up @ 3/4 turn, but he took it to a body shop and they fixed it for him. I am thinking about the pro comp extreme all terrain's for mine.
