Ok real newbie question, but I thought the 9005 were the bulb # for the fogs. What are the 880's for?

the 9005's are the high beam bulbs, H11's are Low's. The 880's are for the fog lights. i had to use the same HID bulb with my GM foglights i installed in the Z, pretty funny these 880's work for GM vehicles

The fog lights are not 880's. They are PS24W's and you'll have to mod the new 880's to fit into the housings. I used 9005 bulbs and modded those. I think I recall someone using 880's once but I can't say for sure. Check my sig for links to the fog light mod. Plenty of pictures and info in there. Good luck.

Yes, i stand corrected the Fog bulbs from sylvania lamp replacement guide say 5202 which are probably PS24W's (converted PN#), but not wanting to purchases new stock bulbs then modify them for HIDs (nice job thinking out of the box though Daddy!!) I will throw a little 2 minute epoxy on the housing and seal them with silicone to ensure water-tightness since the 880's will slide into the stock house without modding the base. But yes tobyb2580 used the 880's

Do the 880's work with the stock wiring harness?

I am waiting for them to arrive to verify, if not ill just wire them up. I'll keep everyone posted.
