Let me jump in right quick here and say that there will be no discussions concerning where or how to download copywrited material. It's not worth the headaches it can cause.

Other than that...Check out the Gutenberg Project.

Too many law issues with peer to peer sharing. I'd stay away.

What I do is use Netflix for their streaming content (as well as their DVDs) but I stay away from downloading. Too many pitfalls and viral issues. Plus it's not legal.

And somebody write this day down.

I spelled copyrighted wrong. :uhoh:

I'll have it engraved. :bs:

+1!! I was just going through some spelling words with my son in the 2nd grade last eve and one of the words was "write" as opposed to "right". He wondered why the difference... I told him to contact Brian.... :uhoh:

I definately stay away from p to p. I happened across (accrossed?)a couple of sites that host them and wondered if anyone had used them.

I think they are for viewing online, but membership (paid) grants download rights and protection from copyright law.

I think that Netflix would be a good movie source for you if you were that bored and you needed something to do... Around here in our grocery stores we have netflix drop boxes where you can rent a dvd for buck!!!

Around here, we have the "Redbox" in our stores. But I don't think they're Netflix affiliated.

I'd just hate for someone to drop their Netflix DVD in it! :uhoh:

Paying to download something doesn't mean it's legal. There are quite a few pay-sites where folks seed torrents to tens of thousands of movies...That is like double illegal. Which means they KILL YOU TWICE! WITH FIRE! when you get caught.
