Has anyone ever mixed transfercase transmission oil with Lucas heavy duty oil Stabilizer on their transfer case? The reason I ask is because I did, the reason was I would hear a loud noise coming from the transfer case when engaing from HI to Low on my (Push Button) Four Wheel drive truck. Actually I must have used half of the 32 oz. bottle of the Lucas heavy duty oil and the rest was the transmission oil for the transfer case and It seems to be shifting smoothly and no more NOISE.

 

I was kind of worried my four wheel light was going to come ON but hasn't and it's been working just fine when I need to go off road.
