New Mod: Hid Fog Lights.

First of all a big thanks goes out to Mike (illmac77) for explaining everything to me!

 

Now guys I think this was the first time I've ever cut wires or used epoxy/silicone. It took us 5 1/2 hours to do this simple mod...I know I know

 

I followed Mikes steps for installing my 8000k HID lights into the foggers.

I'll try getting some more pictures of the lights and our new Ram! The only problem I'm having is the right HID sometimes flickers during start up.

 

 

The lights don't actually look that blueish..

Sorry, but retrofitting HIDs into the foglights kinda just defeats their purpose, the light is just going to scatter everywhere.

looks great man, thats what i like about the model silverado's like mine, on mine i didnt have to do any modding to get the lights to fit, on my fogs i just orders another set of high beam HID's and the wire harness fit and so did the fog encasing groves(not sure what to actually call them). So it was actually pretty simple. But not the less it looks great

Awesome Hid's.

 

When I added the HID's for the fog lights I too thought the light would scatter but the first time we had fog I flipped those babys on and *bam* I could see. I could see about about 100 feet to the left and right of my truck too
