High Beam Indicator Light

I got a 2004 2500HD when the truck is cold the high beam indicator light glows very faintly. However once the truck warms up the light goes off.

 

 

Has anyone had this problem, should I worry about it, is there a fix?

You're lucky, mine's so bright I had to put window tint over it.

The "security" light on my '03 1500HD would glow intermittently and with varying levels of brightness. No "check engine" light, no codes, no explanation. Later I had the "frozen" speedometer needle and other "crazy" gauges. But after my dealer replaced the cluster per a TSB the light has been gone and all is well. Don't know if this applies to your '04 but it may be a starting point.....

I think there was a bulletin to reflash the BCM to dim the high beam indicator. I just never took it in. I know the 05 and up are half as bright.
