Weather Tech Visor Install

i don't really post too much on here i usually try searching first but i couldn't find anything to answer my question this time. but i just installed my weather tech door visors and when i row my window down the visor moves down a little bit and goes back up when i row the window up, do you all think this is anything to worry about or should there be no play in the visor with normal window operation? thanks for any input.

From what I remember when I installed a set about 5 years ago, they should not move. I think you need to let them set for a day or two before lowering the window. They did come with the sticky tape on the lip where you had to remove the paper first, correct?

 

I had one come loose once and called them up and they sent me some more of that double-sided clear tape so I could redo it for no charge.

i followed the instructions but they didn't have any sticky tape on the front ones just the back ones. i will be giving them a call in the morning to see about getting me some. thanks for the reply.

On my 08 the fronts just went right in and don't move. Tha backs went right in as well but there was a little brace that came with them for the back to keep them in place.

I have the AVS in-channel visors on my truck and they don't move at all while operating the windows....

My WeatherTech visors (front or back) don't move. The back ones had some sticky tape and the brace, but the front one just fit in. It sounds like they aren't fitting quite right or aren't fitted up all the way into the track properly. I would trying rolling your window down, then push up on the visor to make sure it's fitted all the way up, then roll your window up. Then keep the window closed for a day to make sure the visor seat themselves well.
