Would anyone else like to see Stewert win the Indy 500?  I would.  I am definately NOT a Stewert fan, but Indy drivers have won some NASCAR races in the past, and I'd kind of like to see it the other way around.  I don't know for sure, but I can't think of any NASCAR driver that has won a CART/IRL race.  Anyone else know?

I'm not a Stewart fan, but I found myself pulling for him in both races today.  One I would like to see a NASCAR driver win Indy just to show all those people who think it can't be done that NASCAR drivers are good.  And two because I just thought it would be cool for someone to win the 600 that had raced all day at Indy.  But finishing 6th and 3rd was really good anyway, espsecially since he probably would've won the 600 if it were a little longer and he had a good shot at winnning the 500.  I think he showed alot of people that these drivers ARE atheletes.

Tony Stewart was the IRL champ a few years ago. He owned those idiots.  So to see him do well today was not a fluke. I am impressed that he did well in the 600 after doing Indy though. He's the 1st to do good in both.

He was the first to good in both, but He did that in '99, he just improved on it this year.  In '99 he finished 8th at Indy and 4th in the 600.  But this year he was more physically and mentally prepared and he had a legitimate shot at winning both races.

Heck, he was even feeling good enough after the race that he had that usually Tony Stewart attitude, which I dislike.  LOL   It was nice that he completed every lap, with all those people donating money to that charity for each lap.
