Crank Sensor

i was told that my truck bogging down in parking lots was due to crank sensor but does 1995 chevy k1500 350 5.7 even have a crank sensor becuase can not find parts anywhere thanks cody

thought so thats why i was asking then what else could cause it to idle fine but sputter in parking lots or when you are going slow? ive already replaced egr, fuel injectors, redid heads, good compression, fuel filter, ran sea foam through it and its still not throwing codes. Thanks cody

i cleaned the throttle body what is the idle speed control? It idles fine would this cause it to run rought when moving in paking lots?

1987 to 1995 TBI trucks have no crank, 1996 up have a crank sensor.

I thought the '95 was the transition year. Some had them some didn't, depending on the vehicles build date.

No 95 TBI was OBD1 An 96 up is SPI OBD2. There were no OBD2 CK trucks built in 95 but other lines such as the S10, Corvette & some cars started as early as 1994.
