Well, I've been without internet access for a few weeks, since I came home for Christmas break, but Tom told me on the phone that htere may be a question out here of where all the Raiders fans went.  When I heard that I had to get to someone's computer and post.  So here is one anyway.

 

I'm no fair weather fan.  I've been a fan all my life.  Even through the Marc Wilson and Jeff George QB eras.  It sucked, but I never gave up hope.  Even with those rough years they still have the best total winning percentage of all the other franchises in history.

 

Yeah, they've gone down hill fast.  And with losing Darrell Russell for a year, now they look even worse.  But they're still in the playoffs and anything can happen.  If they win this week and either the Pats win or Dolphins lose the Raiders get a bye week, and one home game.  Otherwise they get a home game and no bye.

 

I'm beginning to think that the season may be too long for all the old players they have, but if that is the case then a bye week could help.  Rice may miss this week though, which will hurt, but it will give my man Jerry Porter from WVU a start.

 

Looks like it will be the Steelers and the Rams or Bears in the Super Bowl, but I won't give up hope until I have to.  And I'll still be a huge Raiders fan after they lose and don't make it.

 

Hey it could be worse ya know.  One of my best friends is a die hard Bengals fan.  How would you like to have them for a favorite team?    

 

I probably won't be back on here until I go back to school on the 14 of Jan.  So if you don't here from me after the Radiers lose another one, I'm not hiding, I'm just to disappointed to try to get to a computer.  ;)
