2007 Silverado Cruise Control Issue

Hello,

 

I hope you guys can help me resolving the issue i have with my cruise control. Basically, what's happening is my cruise intermitently will stop engaging. I can drive for 2 hours when it works fine , then for no apparent reason it will just cease responding for 20 minutes, after that it will work again for 30 minutes...then stop for another 20 and so on....I had my truck taken to the dealer twice. First time they replaced "a switch" , which didn't do anything... second time they said they could not replicate the issue and logs did not indicate anything's wrong.

 

This is where i am now... i need it fixed somehow. can you guys help with a proper course of action, I just don't want to go back and forth to a dealer, just to waste my time and be turned down, because they can't "replicate"...

I have the Same exact problem with my '08 silverado. My problem seems linked to brake pedal. I made sure the switch on the linkaged hooked to the brake pedal, under the dash, wasn't loose and magically the problem went away for a couple of weeks. Now it's back and the same fix did nothing this time around. Did you ever get this figured out?
