Very cool. Had me a pretty red one when I was 19

This is the car daddy (my dad) bought me in high school (1995). Worst thing I ever did was sell it in 2005 for a D*dge truck. :D

I started dating my wife while I had my 'ROC. She got pregnant while we were engaged, and I traded it for a...I don't think I can admit it on this site

I saw that issue of Hot Rod magazine,The IROC-Z was my "dream car" when I was in High-School,I've wanted one ever since.

I kinda' wish that guy would clean it up and get a set of the OE wheels & tires for it (Although the original Goodyear "Gatorbacks" are no longer available)

I always like the look of the old IROC-Zs. That one would eat you out of house and home replacing all of the rubber pieces that have long since left us for the afterlife... and the crusty brake parts, and the solidified transmission internals, engine seals, and old fluids, etc etc etc. The in tank fuel pump will have long since coughed up a lung and the fuel tank probably has stalagmites growing in it.

Shelved cars don't survive very well.

It would make a good drag car! Back half that sucker and race it! :D

It's a shame it wasn't stored properly. It would have been bad-ass. Now it's just a money pit.

That's sad. If stored correctly it would have been a really cool time capsule.

I can't believe it has bids over 20K for a 305 / slushbucket camaro that is going to need restoring. You can buy survivor cars like it for 5 grand that are pretty nice.
