Got Me Some New Rims And Tires!

Recommended Posts

Just bought these rims and tires for my truck. I am really happy with the purchase. I bought some 18x8.5 Weld velociti 6 chrome rims wrapped in Nitto terra grapplers size 285/60/18. The tires are stock size but wider. This will be my summer set so that size is perfect for MPG since I tend to travel more in the summer. I don't get them until Friday so here are some pictures of them.

What you think?

Excellent! One of my favorite wheels!

Mine too so that is way I couldn't pass this deal up. Rims and tires have less than 5000 miles on them. I got a steal of a deal also.

Nice choice!!!

Are the Nittos load E range though? If so, be prepared, they are HEAVY and will ride pretty stiff.

I am going back to BFGs next time.

no they are the Passenger size not the LT ones. It should ride nice. I have owned 2 sets of nitto tires before so I know what you are talking about.

Sweet! Those should look great on your truck

Thanks. I wanted a simple 6 spoke design and I found these and had to have them.

The other problem is I can't mount them up right away because the WI weather sucks right now!!

I didn't even realize it, in the confusion with the 1st set not fitting and rushing in the 285's, I missed it. There is NO WAY I would have asked for 10 ply tires on a 1/2 ton truck.

But they STILL ride better than my factory 20" Goodyears.
