Open Letter To NASCAR

After Taladega, I remembered why I strayed from NASCAR two years ago.  Parity has gone too far.  If I wanted to watch an IROC race with 43 cars, I would.  Superspeedways were raced with 3/4 throttle - when a driver felt that he could pass the car infront of him, he would mash the gas and be gone.  Now it is a 43 car parking lot and when one person makes a mistake - 20 people pay.  It's no longer the best cars winning, it is the car that can survive the demolition derby and cross the line.  The luckiest driver wins.

I hate to agree with two drivers I don't care for, but Jimmy Spencer and Sterling Marlin were right - the race is SCARY boring.  I was only glued to the TV because I didn't want any one to get killed in the non-race race.  Jr proved that the best car can pull away, just pray that you are lucky enough to be in front the S*** hits the fan.
