what would be the best kit to buy to convert my truck to hids

I got these off ebay 80 bucks each with free shipping. They shipped from cali. monday and to my house in tenn. wednesday morning they were shipped usps. I got the slim ballests for low and high beams 12k bulbs. heres what i got and the seller too

That is the question i would like to know also, ive talked to people that have installed them and they say no, waste of money, then other people swear by them....

Is the h11 bulb the same as a 9006?

no it looks the same but it will not fit in the connector

I have had two vehicle with HID's and neither one had a HID wiring harness and I have never had any problems. My last truck (05 Toyota X-runner) had 4300K headlights and 3000K foglights and not one issue ever.

I would recommend the relay harness. Cheap insurance if nothing else.

I thought HID's were not recommended in the high beams due to them being switched on & off,on & off,etc.

I thought it wasn't good for them?

i just put mine in two days ago but now when i drive at night i can help but feel like the right side is brighter than the left and when i pull up to the door one is facing down but it was not like this before i did the hid's

From what I have heard before is that the drivers side headlight is pointed towards the middle a bit more to reduce blinding oncoming traffic.

That could possibly make it look like less light.

I would recommend the relay harness. Cheap insurance if nothing else.

After running my HIDs from the factory wiring harness, I went back and installed the relay for extra insurance. here is where I got mine.
