OK, the cluster on my 03 GMC Sierra SLT Z71 has quit working and I am replacing it.

After spending 2-3 weeks messing with paperwork and crap I am ready to order. Now the vendor is out of stock of the regular 3/4 ton standard cluster(same as 1/2 ton but with trans temp).

In stock they have the

2003 - 2006 Silver Escalade Cluster

2003 - 2006 White Escalade Cluster

2003 - 2006 Escalade ESV Cluster

I was not looking to mod/upgrade my truck, I just wanted a functional dash.

Opinions on how this wood look on a relatively unmodded, but optioned out Sierra.

They can ship any of these today. A week or more wait on the stocker.

Also, what is the extra DIC window used for? Will it be functional with a 03 Sierra?

I have the stock 3/4 with trans temp. I like it much better. I don't like the way the speedo is numbered on the Escalades.

That's what I was thinking also. If I trade my truck, I would rather it look like an option than a mod.

Well then hands down, go with the stock ESV cluster. The other two don't look like a stock option by any stretch of the imagination.

Mark, I am assuming you have over 75K miles on your truck, right?

is the TSB for 70k or 75k, I had some of my needles go crazy one, and then nothing, but if its 75k I am good, but 70k I am screwed...

I have heard both on here, but when I called about my wife's 04 Impala, the dealer told me it was for the 03/04 trucks and was 75K.

I talked to the service manager and he contacted the local GM rep and they covered 50% of my wife's on her Impala. More actually, when it was all said and done, it only cost me $162 total. So, even if you are "screwed", which I figured I was, it doesn't hurt to ask.

I replaced mine with the 03 silverado ss. it is white faced and looks good in my opinion, has trans temp to.
