Smoked Tail Light Lens?

Well I had my steering wheel on craigslist as well, and someone has emailed me wanting to trade a set of brand-new lens covers (he has a Sierra and apparently they don't fit?) for the steering wheel...Would these actually look any good on my truck? I was never into the "smoking the lens" thing and don't really want someone rear ending me or getting a ticket for illegal tint (even though I've seen some bad spray can jobs before). My truck's gray but I have a lot of black accessories like the cover, fender flares, nerf bars etc...Would post a pic of my truck but my desktop has a virus and won't boot anymore.

IMO smoked tail lights only look good on black trucks...

At the very least they'd be easier to resell than my steering wheel haha, cause not many people get the WT model.

if he bought the tail lights brand new the plastic is probably impregnanted with tint. Its definitly not rattle canned. and whether or not it looks good is up to you. i think they look good on the darker trucks.
