Abs Motor

I am having a problem:I am recently experiencing when applying the brake at very slow speeds I feel and hear the ABS motor engaging. It feels like I loose the pedal for a moment. I have a 06 GMC 2500HD CREW 6.0. Has anyone else had this trouble and if so what did you do about it?

I had a similar problem with losing brake pedal, although I didn't hear any unusual sounds.

 

The problem was a bad PS/PB unit. Replaced it with a rebuilt unit and it's working great now. (The rebuilt unit was a little pricey, but what isn't today?)

If indeed you find that your ABS unit is bad and instead of spending the almost $1000 bucks for a new GM replacement check e-bay. There are several ABS unit rebuilders and you can get the unit repaired for less than $200 !
