Were Movin'

Well it suck up fairly quickly but next week we move to our new house.. After 11 years in this house we are finally moving closer to work, closer to Toronto and actually were gaining privicy because all we have around us is farm land with like 5-10 neighbours within a 5 min walk..

Biggest thing i m excited about is the drive.. we go from 200kms a day to 20 kms a day That is definately my favorite part just because i ve cranked out about a year and a half of driving in 8 months.. With all the gas money i m going to save it will all go back into the truck because now i m not spending 300-400 dollars a month on fuel.. THANK GOD!!!

I m going to be gone wed, thrus, fri, and maybe saturday of next week because thats when the serious packing starts like computers, tv, etc... I havent been away from the forum for more than a few days so i just hope i stay sane after 3+ days!!!

I was just thinking of it because i just realized that this will be my last weekend in this house.. PARTY TIME!!!!!

Having done it quite a few times, you will be surprised at how sad it will be to move out on the last day!!!

Good luck on the move man! We might be moving here soon if we can sell both houses in time. Hope to see what the truck looks like with a couple of hundred dollars a month for mods.

Newbie is right, it can be sad leaving a place where you have had good times, and worked through bad times. I moved recently and I was thrilled about the new house but when I saw our old house in the rear view mirror for the last time it was like leaving a good friend behind.

p.s. I hope my wife doesn't find out I am sentimental

Steve- we'll be in the same boat soon. Luckily we just moved in here a year ago and I still haven't unpacked most stuff yet. Should make that packing day easier-

Well I m signing off for now next three days is the big move :)i ll be somewhat unpacked and i m making sure i get my computer unpacked before anything so i can get back online!!!!
