Another Newbie With A Question

Hi guys, I would be interested in hearing from anyone out there with a 7.4 (454) in a

3500 dually. I currently own a 99 Z-71 with a 5.3 and 411 gears but am trying to work a deal on a 2000 model 3500 to pull a 20'-24' enclosed trailer. We're only talking less than

7000 lbs and my truck will pull it but I know its back there. I know the 454 is more than

enough truck but would like to know what to expect out of it. Pros and cons, performance, fuel mileage, etc... the 2000 has a 411 gear also and is a 2wd.

they pull really well.. but as far as gas mileage... yikes lol. but if its gonna be used for towing.. id say go ahead!
