Power Folding Mirror Problem

I just bought an 04 Silverado 2500HD and I cannot get the folding mirrors to work. The manual says to place the selector switch in the center and the directional button will illuminate and then press left or right to fold or unfold. The button illuminates, but the mirrors do not move. Any help?

Are you sure this truck is equipped with the power folding mirrors?

 

I don't know how to tell but I do know that the manual will tell you how to operate features that don't necessarily come on all trucks.

mine were stuck i just pulled them out when i hit the button and they go in and out now
