Yo. End of school today marked the first day of a long awaited and much needed spring break. I decided that I'm going to try and get a bunch of things done to my truck this break, as in finally try to get my sound system ordered / installed (hahaha.) and see about a leveling kit / suspension lift. i feel like a **** without my truck at least LEVELED just because of the way it sits forward. it just bothers me. and of course i cruise around the forums all the time just reading and looking at all the trucks as I have been for months but i havent really posted anything, So hello and its nice to be back.

My question:

I want a suspension lift for my truck, but i dont want it to be too high and look like a tool. I at least want to do the RC 2" Leveling kit, but i was wondering this: If I decided to get the RC 3" suspension lift, does that make it give that leveled look as well but with an aditional lift? does the Leveling kit provide a "suspension lift" or a just a "body lift" as it levels? anyone have any suggestions or reviews of the RC 3" suspension lift? and since i cant do this myself even though all you guys do it, where should I go to get it done and stuff and will they fix the allignment for me and shizz?

Edit: To help make one of my questions easier to understand kinda, I was wondering if the 2" leveling kit actually provided any more clearance than compared to just stock. ha.

any opinions or suggestions would be nice. thanks

Ground clearance, or clearance in the wheel wells for bigger tires?

2" kit levels the nose with the factory rear end.

3" kit bring nose up (via a different type of spacer) 3" and raises the rear with blocks about 1.5 inches if I am not mistaken.

Michael,

I don't know your budget or your skill set, but you have a 2WD so some lift is ok, unless your going for an all out Pre-Runner look. I would suggest a small lift like the RC kit. Here are some others for you.

Well, I am a hunter and have actually not been able to take it out yet because I'm busy with school and all that garbage (but a turkey hunt later this april ) and I actually posted this in the wrong forum and made a new thread in the the correct place. But anywho yes it would just be for a little more ground clearance and I will be getting the leveling kit. I'll mayvbe check it out to see if I can do it myself with the help of my uncle, but idk we will see and I'll keep you fools updated. As for the audio system, that is underway right. now. :puke:
