To some degree yes. Austin is WAAAAAY out there by comparison though. It's the same in every really large market across the US I guess. I do like San Antonio area though. Very different even though it's only about 70 miles down the road. That's why I built my home down here rather than in Austin even though I am in Austin 3 or 4 days a week. It's worth the drive!
