Rally Racing

I'm sitting here watching one of those European Road Rally races on Speedvision.  Those people that stand on the sides of the road are crazy!  I've wondered for years why they do that.  Same thing with the Off-Road Baja type races.

 

So what would you do?  Personaly, I would be no where near the road, at least not in an area where your likely to be hit.

I would really like to continue living, so I'm not gonna be anywhere near the road in an area that looks good for an off track excursion.  LOL

I don't know what to put  (Probably chose the wrong one).

 

I wouldn't go as far as to be whithin an arms reach of the cars as the fly by, but I wouldn't be so far away that I couldn't see any of the action.

 

I'd probably go find the nearest Cliff and sit on that and watch.

Actually, thats what the "Rally" stands for......all of your friends "rally" around your hospital bed hoping that you "rally" and dont DIE!

I wouldn't have much of a problem on the straightaways, (I wouldn't be on the shoulder though!), but I just don't get these people standing on the curves.

i'd be driving, that simple. watching gets boring after a while.. tho if i was to watch more often. it would be on tv. in person leaves too much unseen action for me.

Like most sporting events....go for the social event if you want...but if you want to WATCH the event, you are much better off at home in front of a big screen....
