Billet Grille's

Okay I'v been contemplating about a billet grille for my truck, but keep coming back to the worry I guess you could say that there will be "too much ""BLING"" in the front?" What do you guys think, here is my truck as it sits today!

Leave it. The dark (black?) bowtie, inserts (or lack thereof), and the bumpers corners all have a nice contrast on the front end.

I'd like to meet up with you and talk mods and stuff because it looks like we have the same truck (black ext cab) and i was interested in doing the same thing to my truck (billet grille, black bowtie) but i also was interested in painting my chrome bumped black... or getting a black one somehow.. IDK

As much as I like billet grilles, I agree with Dan on this one. I think your truck has a nice balance of bling to dark.

Yeah thats what I keep thinking too, I like the contrast it has now too but still kinda like the billet grille. I dont know?

I live in Tucson! Okay so lets see here for the mods.......I got the Pro Comp 6" lift with the longer front drive shaft, 18" Pro Comp Wheels wrapped in 35" Pro Comp Extreme A/T tires, AEM Dry flow filter with the chrome tube, GM Performance exhaust, Superchips power programmer ( I know I know I know, switch to Blackbear! Im really thinking about it!) painted tails, 6000K HID head's and fog lights, Debadged except the GM logo, and then a Kenwood 7" indash DVD. I think that wabout does it so far. What you running on yours. Oh yeah I got lucky(I think at least) and my truck came black on black leather interior with bucket seats in the front. I come up to Gilbert a lot to visit friends we should get together one of these times!

yeah whenever you come up from "Nothing Tu-do-scon" just let me know. and mines basically stock except for a sound system getting put i tomorrow at best buy and a line-x bed liner..

 

can you take some better pics and stuff of your truck from a bunch of different angles? i'd like to see more clearly how much more badass your truck is compared to mine haha

 

and is that bowtie black on the front?

some company out there makes a black chrome, that's what i was interested in most. o yea it was a mesh.
