Gmc Vs. Acura

So my boss and I were going to the same business meeting today and I end up behind him going through the parking lot. There are two open spots, and he pulls into the one on the right. I immediately proceed to the one on the left. As I'm pulling straight in I hear the dreaded noise, look over, and see his wide eyes looking at me. Seems he was in such a hurry he opened his door before checking his surroundings. His door lip met face to face with my Cooper STT and the rest was history.

His door was bent all the way forward, almost to his fender. Pretty cool though, it freely closes still and is still lockable, just the hinge stops are busted. It bent the upper and lower portions of his door frame all to hell though.

On my truck, it dented the front fender and scratched the hell out of my rim. His 2008 company Acura TSX has one helluva mucked up yet still functioning drivers side door. Anyway, company insurance pays for it all, so I'm settling for nothing but the best when it comes to body shops. I want OEM GM parts only and an exact paint match. Sorta bummed about the first dent ever on my pride n' joy.

man that sucks. i had some dipshit do that to me back when i was in high school. scratched up my beautiful 1988 Ford escort GT. yeah...GT. glad to hear it's all being taken care of.

Sorry bout your fender, I was bummed about my hail damage....still not happy, but it gets easier.

I know how you feel...I was rear-ended last October. No injuries, but I was not a happy camper. At least it wasn't my fault (I was stopped at a red light) and the other driver's ins. paid for my deductable and the rental car fee. Hope your truck gets fixed right and you can put this mess behind you.

Lucky...I wish someone else was at fault for mine. There was no chance I could ask the hot chick with the tig ole bitties to pay for the damages on mine. I'll get it fixed someday.

Genuine OEM GM bondo with get he back to normal in no time!

Uhhhhh....they better NOT bondo. Goes in tomorrow to be repaired, supposed to have it back early next week. Oh yeah, only rental car available as body shop lady put it "all we've got left is a van, and I don't know if you want it". Guess we'll see tomorrow, I don't care if its an '84 Voyager I'm taking it hunting this weekend.
