I withhold judgment. Tough to judge the whole thing without hearing the FIRST call to see if either of them was abusive before she redialed.

Going on what they show, yeah, he looks like a first class heel.

But depending on the tone of the first call, maybe she should have gotten a hold of herself and communicated the severity of the problem rather than getting pissed.

Oh! and before I forget...

Thank goodness they were able to find a lawyer that would help them. I think they're going to need 7-8 million to get over the pain and suffering.

I can imagine it's sometimes a difficult task for an officer to discern the difference between panic and disrespect, but in this case, considering the circumstances for which the 911 system is intended, he f'd up, IMO.

I will also say that while she is young and not trained for situations like this, she could have made some better choices herself. Mouthing off to a police officer over the phone with comments such as "Are we gonna have a problem?" and threatening to sue him seems a little less important than getting an injured family member some help.

+1 She could have handled it better, but I think the lack of maturity is to blame there. I do think the 911 operator should have been mature enough to handle it much better than that and at least found out the problem before deciding to hang up on her. That part is ridiculous imo....

Well that girl is obviously a class act  There's no respect for the law in that household.

But that dirtbag officer shouldn't have acted that way either. He was having a case of the Mondays or something . . . :D

That chick was a typical snottyass teenager, but that does not give the officer the right to do what he did. You cannot assume anything on 911 calls until you KNOW for sure what's going on. That guy could have died.

I agree... nobody won that "stupid" contest.

I don't care what language she used, the dispatcher was completely in the wrong. Her father is having a seizure and she's getting schooled in proper attitude? Give me a break, if that was your wife or kid you wouldn't have been just as irate?

+1 That guy should of been more professional. Just ignore the cussing, get the help she needed, and then taser the bWONch afterwards for the lip.
