07 Silverado Differential Leak?

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have a NBS 07 silverado with 28k miles on it, and I've noticed that it appears to have some differential fluid buildup along the seals of the cover, which I thought was normal on trucks with higher mileage, but is this normal to have on a truck with 28k miles on it? Would this be something covered under warranty? Maybe it's nothing, but I'm picky about stuff like this and want to know before warranty runs out. Thanks in advance

Every one I ever had seeped a tiny bit. Not enough to be a leak or drip problem but enough to tell there was fluid there by the color. It's like that gear oil soaks through somehow.
