I know i proboley should have bought the XD kit from here but this one was a good price. After the kit was installed everything looks good, i even leave them on for the 10min im sappose to. I drove to my parents house wich is about an hour away and the lh light goes out. ....damn it.. so i turned it off then on again and it never came back on only the one side. So i checked the trouble shooting guide wich is verry vauge but looks like i migh have a bad ballast. I email the seller...bought on ebay and he is sending me a new ballast. So hopefully i can get it fixed cuz they look awsome other than the one going out, ill get some pics up when i see the new kit

have anyone else had an issue with these kits

you know thats the only thing i didnt do, the kit didnt come with a relay harness. But i might do that as well, cuz of the auto lights.

I bought two of those kits to put on a couple of atv's . No problems with either of them and no relays were used either. We all know an atv's electrical is no were near as stable/beefy as an automobile. You probably just had bad luck with that ballast.

it could be the ballast...I had one go out on me too. I still firmly believe in using a relay though which I have.

those cheap ebay HID kits are known for having crappy ballasts... sometimes you'll luck out and get a decent one, but most the time they'll burn out in no time.

You may want to look into wiring in a relay, they're simple enough to make... or you can buy them from xenondepot.

if all else fails, save some loot and get a pair of philips ballasts

you get what you pay for

do you really think a $70 HID kit is going to last?

spend some $ and get quality stuff like Philips, Hella & Bosch.

Manufactures like Audi, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes etc. use these products for a reason, and not the no name crap that's made in Taiwan

End of the day, it's your money... personally I've only used Philips bulbs & ballasts and valeo projectors.

I tried the cheapo ebay crap at first, and after replacing a ballast and 2 blown bulbs I said the hell with it.

Sad to say but I bought this kit on eBay about 6 months ago and only had one problem, I was cleaning my engine with a hose and must have got some water in some were, well when I went to start the truck the driver said never came on, but did come on the next morning. After that ok so far.

ok i will post some pics of this but kinda crappy story. Again i know its only like $60 but this guy sends me a new ballast wich looks like he took it off of his car or someone in the parking lot..lol the box is all gressy and even the wiring looks to be of an old style so i said oh well and put it in.

i was woried that since the wiring was old i wasnt going to get a good connection but it worked. Now i think and this might just be me being paranoid , but i think the other side wich has the good or new ballast in it is brighter than the old (used up) side.

so i told the guy i was going to give him a half satified reveiw since ive only gotten half the parts that were worth a damn. I work in a parts department and you dont give someone old parts for a parts warranty issue. So ill see weather or not he is going to honor the 2yr warranty with the old used 3yr old ballast as well..LOL

I have three sets from that seller.

I did have one bad ballast, which was quickly replaced.

Have had them for 6 months, no problems. Always ignite properly.

I am not using relay harnesses, why use the factory relays to turn on more relays???? :P
