Engine Temp. Gauge

Will only go up to about 150. I have replaced the thermostat and the sensor on housing. Is there something else I need to check or do you think the gauge itself might be bad? Thanks!

There are two temperature sensors on my truck. The one up top is for the engine computer and the one on the driver's side of the engine is for the instrument cluster gauge.

 

I don't know if these are different, but check to be sure the correct replacement is in each spot.

I replaced the one on the driver's side and it took care of the problem. Thanks for the advice.

If you are not running a thermostat and live at the North Pole it might be normal. lol.
