Posi Interchange

Hello, i got a posi unit from a 1995 1500 chev. would it fit in an 88 C2500?? thanks a lot!

Hmm, are you sure that's true because the Posi wouldnt fit in my 2000 Silverado (the axle wouldnt fit inside). and the covers were the exact same

Does your 88 C2500 have a 8 lug axle flange? If so, I'm guessing it's not the same guts.

this is the only info I got on the 88 "1988 C2500 with the 14 bolt 9.5 ring gear rear end" and i got no clue what posi unit I have other than it was from a 1995ish 1500 truck and it wont work with a 2000 because the axle is too big.
