Looking for the brushed aluminum trim on #3...I dont need the entire cluster, just the plates that sits into the recessed areas of the cluster panel.

anyone know where I can find them? Id rather not pay $256 for a panel when I only need the trim, and Im unable to locate them anywhere else.

Thanks for any help.

(Is there a "cosmetics" forum here? If not it would be nice to have one  )

How are the plates secured to the panel? I have used a product that is a stainless steel skin which has adheasive on it. Did my dishwasher in the house because I am too cheap to spring for a new unit.. I will get you the name of the stuff, but it came from ebay and was like $40.

how stiff is it? the panel itself where the aluminum sits is bumpy in texture like this...

That looks like itll work great as long as the bumps dont bleed through

That dishwasher stuff may be your best bet. I've never run across any place that had those trim pieces by themselves. Always had to buy the whole thing. Good luck, hope it works out. :dunno:

How about applying it to the panels and then securing them back on? If you shoot me your address via PM, I think I have some leftovers, I can send you out a little to work with.

the panels were too damaged and broken up to be able to save, I dont even know if I could use your film as I have no way of knowing if it would work, and Id hate to accept something then not be able to use it...I do appreciate the offer though. :(

Could a machine shop make them?

No prob. How about some 600 sandpaper a little green masking tape and some aluminum spray paint? You can even just re-do in black or a cool interior matching color. I am however know as "the master of the spray can" by my kid and his buddies...
