Adding Steering Wheel Controls: Need Diagram

HI,

 

I have a 2003 GMC Sierra that I am in the process of up grading to the steering wheel controls. I have gotten the clockspring and the steeing wheel installed correctly, but am having doubts about where the wires that come off the clockspring go. I have read many of the threads about this topic, and most talk about where the wires go but some of the threads are old enough that the diagrams have been removed and other threads tell me where some go but not all of them. I have an idea where most of the wires go but I would like to make sure I know where all go. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.

 

Clockspring harness wires colors are:

 

Yellow:

Orange w/black:

Brown w/white:

Dark blue:

Pink:

Purple:

Black(has two ends on it):

Light Green:

I am interested in doing this too, are you going to have the dealer reflash the computer to access the DIC? Any unexpected problems so far?

As of now I have not had any unexpected problems. All of the threads that I have read about on this topic have made this process very easy. I think that I found the home for all of my wires. (took my father inlaws pickup dash apart to take a look)

 

He has a 05 Chevy silverado LT

 

Clockspring harness wires were the same color and my pickup had the same slots open on the wiring harness next to the steering column.

 

Here is where I put them in the wiring harness on the steering column.

Yellow: B2

Orange w/black: B13

Brown w/white: B6

Dark blue: B26

Pink: B12

Purple: A4

Black(has two ends on it):A5 and Top of Steering wheel colum(this wire was in the slot for A5 already)

Light Green:B31
