Does anyone know if GM would be able to detect the stock TCM had at one time been in the vehicle with a tuned ECM? Of course if I were to take it in for service, I would put the stock ECM in as well. Shifting and tcc lock up seem to be a little flakey for some reason and I'm trying to figure out if it is ECM or TCM related. Both stock modules work together just fine but not much fun to drive. Just playing backyard mechanic here, but don't want to mess with gm warranty.

What no answers for this one, or is it just a stupid idea?
